Our Northwestern buddy Braxton is in Berlin this weekend, so we took him around the city (and also some of the touristy stuff that we hadn't been out to see yet ourselves). Here are some of the highlights.
The crazy ceiling at the Sony Center on Potsdamer Platz. If you've ever been to the Thompson Center in Chicago, notice the resemblance. They were both designed by the same person.
Pretty fall-colored trees on Unter den Linden and the TV Tower.
A freak rainstorm came out of nowhere while we were at the Topography of Terror and produced an awesome double rainbow--even cooler because it was stretching over the remainder of the Berlin Wall.
More happy rainbows.
